Unexpected shutdowns due to equipment breakdowns and unplanned maintenance can bring your mineral processing operation to a screeching halt, hampering your production goals and adding a hefty repair bill to your expense list. One way to help prevent these issues is regularly inspecting your equipment.
While your Niagara F-Class vibrating screen is designed for minimal maintenance, it can still benefit from regular inspection and preventive maintenance that will help your machine run at peak productivity.
We’ve already discussed our recommendations for daily and weekly inspection of your F-Class vibrating screen. Here’s what we recommend examining on a monthly basis.
Perform a visual inspection of the drive V-belts and check the tension. If the V-belts are worn, damaged or missing, replace them as a set.
Check the drive system for leaks, and if found, tighten the connections and replace, as needed..
Conduct a thorough inspection of bolted connections. Tighten loose bolts and replace any missing hardware.
Every six months, schedule a PROcheck service visit with Haver & Boecker Niagara’s service team. We use our signature Pulse Vibration Analysis technology to ensure your vibrating screens are optimized for screening efficiency.
Daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, coupled with preventative maintenance, ensure your F-Class vibrating screen is running optimally, keeping your production on schedule and your productivity at maximum levels.
