We all know that tricky middle deck on your vibrating screen. You know the one. It’s really close to the top deck.
In most cases, there are only 22 inches between the middle and top deck, and it can be a real pain changing out the screen media. That is why you have that skinny guy on staff. He’s the guy that can squeeze in there to change the screen media sections.
What if I told you that we have a product that you can put in that middle deck that would last the whole season? Simply install them in the spring, and you’re good until winter.
What if I were to tell you that this product is NOT going to decrease your production, either? THAT’S RIGHT — high wear and high production! That is a combination not easily found.
The product is called Ty-Wire.
Back in the day, most of us used wire cloth. We’d put the sections in and hope we could get a month out of them. If the wear was really bad, we’d change to a urethane panel. But then we would need to have a new deck frame put in that accepts modular panels, dropping open area from 60% down to 30%. Sure, they lasted longer, but production went down significantly.
With Ty-Wire, you get the best of both worlds. You get excellent wear life and exceptional production. Ty-Wire is a wire cloth section manufactured with an engineered composite around the wires. It has the open area of wire cloth combined with the wear life of a urethane panel. It’s actually lighter than the comparable section of wire cloth you are using now.
Your operators will love it because there are no sharp edges. You will love it because there is no pegging. The openings are tapered, so if the particle can go in the hole, it can get through the hole.
Just picture putting Ty-Wire in that hard-to-get-to middle deck and being good to go for the season!
Now, I’m not telling you to get rid of that skinny guy; you can just put him to better use.
