Clamping Down On ROI With Ty-Rail

Want to improve your operation’s uptime? You are in good company.

At Haver & Boecker, we are constantly working on ways we can help our customers be more efficient and experience less downtime.

Based on conversations with producers, we found screen media changeouts to be a profit killer for aggregates and mining operations. Traditional tension rail designs make changeouts tedious and slow, creating costly downtime which, of course, equates to lost profit. The status quo, quite simply, needed to change.

To address these issues, we developed the Ty-Rail quick-tensioning system. With an innovative one-piece design, Ty-Rail has revolutionized tedious, time-consuming and costly screen media changeout process. Ty-Rail can:

  • Cut changeout time in half. Producers who invest in Ty-Rail are able to change screen media twice as fast as with traditional systems, drastically reducing expensive downtime.
  • Prevent lost hardware. A common issue with traditional tension rail systems is handling all of the hardware during a screen changeout; one four-foot tension rail requires 16 pieces of hardware. Ty-Rail solves this problem as the tension rail and all of the hardware stay together in one piece during screen changeouts, eliminating the loss of time and money spent handling and often losing nuts and bolts into the hoppers below.
  • Streamline work in limited access areas. Thanks to new configuration options, Ty-Rail makes it easier to changeout screen sections in tight areas.

Virtually all new, side-tensioned deck F-Class and T-Class machines now come with Ty-Rail. Additionally, older Tyler machines can be retrofitted with the one-piece system.
