Another great success for Haver & Boecker Niagara: Recently, we supplied one of the largest fertilizer customer with eight innovative vibrating screens for ROM-Phos classifying. After the completion of this project, we will strengthen our place as one of the most trusted partners for manufacturing of processing equipment in the field of fertilizer industry. We collaborate very closely with the producer to evaluate the operation’s needs and carefully hear and solve all of his concerns. The Niagara experts are able to assist our customer throughout the entire process: starting with the foundation planning to the statics, the construction, the production, the delivery, the assembly, the electrics/control up to the commissioning – everything performed in our own house.
Since years, Haver & Boecker Niagara is a trustworthy partner for projects in the fields of fertilizer industry, starting from the mine, where the raw materials are extracted and processed, to the fertilizer plants where the actual fertilizer is produced and to the packaging and terminals for loading and unloading stations. Our fertilizer production line allows our customers to increase their operation’s efficiency, improve product quality and to successfully meet the increased challenges in the fascinating industry of organic fertilizer.
Relying on our many years of experience in this filed we developed together with the customer and the partner engineering company this new phosphate mining solution, in use by one of the phosphate industry’s top players, allowing more than 1400 t/h of phosphate classifying. The final screening units — eight Niagara XL-Class R-MD 2100×7500-C — produce more than 52 t/h by 0-10 mm and cut 1 mm for each vibrating screen. The new age Niagara XL-Class vibrating screen combines advanced exciter drive technology with a wide body for high capacity production. The unique bridge-mounted exciter drive system maximizes machine reliability with extended maintenance intervals, ensuring higher productivity and excellent phosphate fertilizer classification results.
After the completion of commissioning, Haver & Boecker Niagara will carry out the regular maintenance of the machines and support the customer in future process optimization. The Niagara Certified Service Technicians will continuously inspect the delivered equipment and will keep the operation running efficiently focusing on increased uptime and profitability of the vibrating screens. They will continue support our customers plant with the best services and help him solve the eventually accrued challenges on place.
The phosphate rich organic manure is a type of fertilizer used as an alternative to di ammonium phosphate and single super phosphate. All plants require phosphorus, because it is vital to plant growth and is found in every living plant cell. Phosphorus is involved in several key plant functions, including energy transfer, photosynthesis, transformation of sugars and starches, nutrient movement within the plant and transfer of genetic characteristics from one generation to the next. Unfortunately, in the last decades, we are facing big phosphorous limitations in soil that are creating a problem in agriculture. In many areas phosphorus must be added to soil for the extensive plant growth that is desired for crop production, because the solubility depends upon PH of the soil, ambient condition and bacteria present in the soil. With the development of modern fertilizer production techniques, Haver & Boecker Niagara helps companies around the world to adopt more efficient methods of producing phosphorus fertilizer. In this way, Haver & Boecker Niagara plays an important role in boosting crop output and contributes to the stable food supplies around the world.
Such projects bring us a step closer to the global food security, shares Dr. Metodi Zlatev, the Head of Sales and Project Department at Haver & Boecker Niagara. The most important thing by realizing them is to help our customers to realize their vision for the organic farming of the future: “Using our know-how the farmers will be able successful to handle with the agriculture challenges of the future such as longer periods of prohibition for spreading, limiting the application of nitrogen, reducing ammonia and nitrous oxide emissions and the resulting need to expand storage capacities. Choosing our products, the farmers will support the sustainable food sourcing and improve the soil fertility whatever for gardening, horticulture or for agriculture”, adds Zlatev.
Recognizing the need of innovation in the field of fertilizer industry, specially screening, pelletizing and plants engineering, Haver & Boecker Niagara has reinforced its place as a market leader and provides complex solutions of machines that meet the established standards for sustainability.
